If the serial number is still legible on the side wall, you would have to run it by Goodyear to verify what track it was made for. And I mean IF they are willing to take the time for you. Otherwise you are just buying it on some one’s “say-so”, and buyer beware.
Some drivers sell them from time to time for charities, and those ones come with certified documentation of when and where they were used and with an autograph. Not cheap!
Those are the only two ways I know of to be 100% sure.
